Castellorizian Nursing Home

Following the acquisition of the adjoining corner allotments this project was a further addition to an existing nursing home that SBArchitects have been associated with over many years.

Located in a federation style precinct this major addition was designed to compliment the existing streetscape, maintain privacy to the adjoining neighbours and to isolate the nursing home residents from the noise of the adjacent main road.

The design efficiently utilises a very restricted urban site to provide a modern aged care facility serving the needs of the Greek community based around internal courtyards that bring sunlight and natural ventilation to these quiet sanctuaries.
