David McGrath

Position: Director (2000 -) Qualifications: BSc(Arch), BArch Registrations: NSW Board of Architects (4985) Associations: Fellow RAIA Experience: David has over 40 years experience in the design and delivery of housing for seniors and has catered for various clients throughout NSW city and country. David has worked on multi-storey residential projects and his clear communication skil and industry experience brings a wealth of knowledge to our projects.

Amanda Dewhurst

Position: Director (2019-) Qualifications: BSc(Arch), BArch Registrations: NSW Board of Architects (7450) Associations: Member RAIA Experience: Amanda has gained all of her 20+ years of experience at SB architects working on projects based in Sydney as well as regional NSW. During her time she has developed her experience working with aged care, health, and childcare centres. Amanda’s strong design skills reflect her ability to maximise opportunities for even the most difficult sites.

Karen Torry

Position: Director (2019-) Qualifications: BSc(Arch), BArch Registrations: NSW Board of Architects (7476) Associations: Member RAIA Experience: In the more than 20 years Karen has been in practice, her experience has covered environmentally efficient residential projects, aged care and child care buildings in NSW city and country locations. Since coming to SB architects Karen has been responsible for the design and coordination of many projects in all stages from concept through to completion. Karen’s empathy towards her clients has rewarded SB Architects with many projects from repeat clients.
